Welcome to my Blog!

I am a photographer of love and passion and hope to convey that in all the images I take. I have been photographing weddings for over ten years and have been so blessed to work with numerous wonderful couples year after year. I truly love what I do. Capturing some of the most important moments of people's lives gets me excited and inspired. I have been honored to receive the Best of the Knot award for 2008-2011 as well as Best Photographer of the Year by Bridal Insider. Carlsbad Engagement Photographer ~ Courtney and Matt

Courtney and Matt were great to photograph. They are getting married at the Admiral Kidd Club this summer. I was so thrilled when she emailed me with an update after the session!

I love getting emails like this after photographing an engagement session. “I hope you are doing well! Just wanted to let you know we received fabulous feedback from our guests regarding our Save the Dates! Everyone loved them. We used one of the pictures of us sitting at the park in Carlsbad in front of the blue door. It came out so so good! We can’t wait for our quickly approaching wedding and for all the awesome moments we know you will capture. ”

Carlsbad Family Photographer ~ The Finney Family

I photographed the Finney family in Carlsbad last year for their Christmas card photo. Their youngest son is close buddies with my middle son so I was so thrilled when they asked me to photograph them. They make an adorable family and their holiday card turned out great.

San Diego Wedding Photographer ~ Shea and Amanda

Amanda and Shea were married at Del Cerro Baptist in San Diego, CA. Amanda had her favorite color pink highlight all of her details. Her bouquet was gorgeous! After the ceremony we went to Mt. Helix for some bride and groom photos. Then we were off to the reception at Amanda’s childhood home. It was a beautiful night filled with lots of love for the couple from their friends and family. Shea even got to facetime with his twin brother all the way from Afganistan.
